Types of inspections

Want to check out and know what you are buying? Then this, the most common inspection type, is for you. Whether you are going to occupy the property or are an investor, this will provide the information you need to make informed decisions about your purchase.

HOMEBUYERS  INSPECTION

Be prepared ahead of time and learn what a buyer’s inspector is likely to find. This increasingly popular inspection can indicate to you if your home is ready for the market.

SELLERS INSPECTION

HOME WARRANTY EXPIRATION

NEW HOME INSPECTION

Identify problems BEFORE your new home warranty expires. Be sure to schedule this inspection in the 10th or early in the 11th month.

New homes may be inspected with a single inspection at punch list time. Construction phase inspections may be arranged if there are known specifications or standards.

STRUCTURAL / FOUNDATION

CONDOMINIUM

Specific inspection of any item of concern such as termite damage or cracked or bowing basement walls.

Condominiums should also be inspected. You are responsible for everything inside and penetrating the walls (i.e. windows and doors). You should even be informed about common items such as roofing and siding. If there are pending problems with these you need to know if the association plans to handle them with condo fees or assessment.
